Warmth radiates from the watercolor background, in colors ranging from orange to brown, of this wedding invitation. The text was printed in letterpress over the design using unique fonts. Bringing the whimsy to the invitation, are the monogram and the sketches on the directions card. The monogram is also embossed on the Kraft envelope-an element that together with the lace ribbon tying the set together made the invitation all the more unique and gave it a rustic and eco-friendly appeal.

Design and lace were provided by the couple. The Monogram and map were made by The Fozzy Book.

Everything about this invitation says “rustic”. From the wreath monogram with a hand drawn look to the text that looks like it came out of a vintage typewriter; and doesn’t that pattern on the envelope lining remind you of the dolies grandma used to make?

This invite oozes asian inspiration. The art deco style frame is suggestive of the arches of Indian architecture, the color scheme is reminiscent of fine Chinese porcelain and the pattern is indicative of turkish design.

The couples’ name in a calligraphy-inspired typeface immediately catches attention with the bird illustration accents make it all the more quirky. It’s soft and romantic color scheme of blush pink and gray is easy on the eyes and although not traditional, the use of a solid color background brings ties the entire invitation suite’s look together.

A playful Mexican inspired wedding invitation set for and Indian wedding. A fun gimmick of this invite is the interpretation of “tying the knot” a knotted cord is pulled across the flaps of the pocket folder by cartoon versions of the couple.

Designed by a friend of the couple, the design was brought to life by our expertise in letterpress and assembling techniques. The geometric patterns, characteristic of ceramic tiles, filling the cards to the brim were given extraordinary dimension and the typefaces and other elements literally pop out of the tiered cards.
